2005 Triumph Thruxton

For auction is a 2005 Triumph Thruxton in great condition. Never wrecked or laid down. I'm the second owner and originally purchased the bike when it had 500 miles on it from a Triumph dealer in Oklahoma City. Upgrades include: D&D Performance Exhaust DEI Fiberglass wrapped headers Triple Clamp and Drag bars K&N Oil and Air Filter Arlen Ness Mirrors Mobil 1 Oil with Lucas Oil Treatment (7.1.2010) Magnetic oil plug, Custom painted side panels with vintage black logo and painted front fender Kellerman front and rear light weight turn signals, and helmet lock. The cowl seat cover is removable for a passenger to ride on back. The bike basically looks new...I didn't even wash/detail it for the photos and it still looks great. Bike will be detailed prior to pickup. I've knocked off nearly 50 lbs. off the bike by removing the rear fender, stock turn signals, and stock exhaust so it is much lighter than a stock Thruxton and have increased the torque and horsepower from 68hp to approximately 80-85hp. The bike isn't going to win any races, but it will turn heads because most think it is a pre-Hinkley Triumph and the D&D exhaust are loud with a nice rumble to them. I've done all the work on the bike myself (except for the triple clamp and drag bars done at Performance in OKC when I purchased it) and it really is in excellent condition. Garage kept and comes with a full rain/dust cover. Oklahoma tag not due until June 2011. Get it now while there is still 2-3 months left in the riding season. Only selling the bike because I haven't had time to ride it due to travel (with 2700 miles it's barely broken in) and I'd like to do some upgrades to my Mini Cooper. Should be 76-82hp. (Stock bike is 70hp. D&D exhaust adds +4, K&N air filter adds +1-4, and wrapped headers add anywhere from +1-4. These are all approximate estimates from the manufactures.
