1972 triumph tr6 purchased from estate sale in TN. Owner passed away with partial restoration completed. One of the original metal bumper TR-6's This is a great project car that is mechanically sound. Always starts right up...just get in and drive! Needs paint and some minor body work. Motor and transmission professionally rebuilt. Do not know how long since rebuilt. Motor runs strong and smooth. Car drives very well. MOTOR COMPARTMENT: + NEW brake master cylinder + NEW hoses throughout + NEW exhaust manifold + NEW motor mounts + NEW Lucas super-coil + NEW plug wire set + NEW fuel pump & fuel filter + NEW distributor cap, rotor, condenser & points + NEW fan shroud + NEW battery + NEW radiator & oil caps + NEW steering rack, boots, etc...(front suspension parts) + Carburetors completely rebuilt 12,500 miles ago. + Motor and transmission completely, professionally rebuilt. Do not know how long since rebuild. INTERIOR: + Original seats, excellent + Original door panels, excellent + Original dash padding (upper & lower), excellent. NO cracks !!! + Original wood dashboard/ instrument panel, excellent. NO cracks !!! + NEW transmission tunnel + All gauges work except tach. + Original carpets and mats in very good condition EXTERIOR: + Chrome bumpers shine like new- No pitting or dents + Lens in excellent condition + NEW exhaust + Original OEM luggage rack, excellent condition + NEWER, correct (OEM) reflective strip convertible top, fair condition + Michelin tires (all season radials) in very good condition (80% tread remains) BODY and FRAME: + NO RUST solid body & frame with good door and excellant bonnet and boot gaps + Floor pans/ floorboards are very good to excellent + NEW rockers with anti-rust coating + Window regulators work smoothly but need work. + Inside boot area is clean, dry and NOT rusted + Door hinge/ stops, fair. + Paint is an older repaint, with a couple small chips- needs T.L.C. or new paint. EXTRAS: + Original tonneau in good condition, included + Original boot cover in fair condition, included + NEW convertible top rubber seal (top to windscreen) included, but not installed + Original owners manual & original keys +Original radio not installed but available. (No Radio) All work on this car was professionally done with correct, OEM parts.
