I am posting this truck on ebay for a friend of mine. This is a beautiful 1949 1 1/2 ton Studebaker Tilt bed truck. Mileage is unknown. Body Type is 2R16A-31-C2 with an inline 6 cylinder. This Truck was delivered to Billings MT in march of 1949. Recovered from a hay field , restoration began in February of 2008, and includes a rebuilt starter, brakes, steering, radiator, PTO, hydraulics, new tubes and tires, as well as all new glass and paint. Invoices from Krown Restoration of Wilsall, Montana and O'Connor Autobody LLC of Livingston MT are avail for inspection. Copies of Truck Production Order, 2R Series Trucks operators guide as well as shop manual and parts manual will go with the vehicle. This is a one of a Kind Studebaker in excellent operating condition. There is one missing lamp under the drivers headlight as shown in one of the photos.
