Hi, up for auction is a extremely clean, solid and very well taken care of 1979 MG Midget. This car is in beautiful condition. The Midget still has it's original paint which is very nice and very shiney. The convertible top is absolutely flawless, and in perfect condition. The windows roll up & down effortlessly, no broken or cracked glass. doors, hood and truck open and close perfectly, all body seams align perfectly. This MG has never been in a accident. The interior is all original as well and it to is in remarkable condition with the exception of a small tear on the head rest and one small area on the drivers seat cushion where the stiching has come undone. This was the last year for the MG Midget making this model year 1979 very collectible in the MG collectors market. This MG runs excellent, shifts smoothly and stops on a dime. The MG Midget has a brand new battery and new fuel lines. The MG still has all 5 original wheels with Michelin tires with alot of tread left on them. The Midget has the optional from the dealer rear luggage rack as well. The Midget's odometer is calculated in kilometers, and the odometer reads 20,000 kilometers, the conversion to miles is 12,427 miles. I can not say for sure that these are original, but just by looking and driving the car, it sure is very possible. The MG has always been garaged it's entire life. The Midget is a blast to drive, get's the thumbs up all day long and puts smiles on people's faces.
