For sale is my 1986 Chevy 1 ton dually truck with a Western Hauler gooseneck bed. I bought this truck as a package deal with a gooseneck trailer that I needed. I have no need for the truck but the lady I bought it from needed money for her husbands funeral arangements and I felt obligated to buy it so she could proceed. Truck runs very well, always fires up and drives great. I'm a diesel truck person so this truck has little interest to me but it does do 65mph with a 25' gooseneck behind it. I have a clear title ready to be transferred to winning bidder. The motor is a Chevy 454 big block mated to a TH400 transmission. A $200.00 deposit on Chevy is required within 24 hours of the auction closing to cover ebays high fees. I know a lot of folks I sell to are concerned about potential scams regarding online transactions. Exterior: Truck body is in fair condition, has rust on rocker panels and dent on passenger door. Lights all work, has tires that I feel safe driving on but are old and should probably be replaced. Brakes have hydroboost and stop the truck fast. Western hauler bed is rusted all over the place but luckily only the cosmetic areas are rusted through, gooseneck hitch still is structurally sound, has hitch receiver on rear. Grill is cracked on front, truck has numerous other cosmetic issues that do not effect the performance. Has dual fuel tanks but only the passenger side tank is working because the switch or valve to transfer the fuel isn't working. Drivetrain: Truck starts and runs great. Has no problem starting every time. New battery. Does not overheat, has great power for a gas engine. Transmission shifts fine, no rear end noises. I drove the truck 2 hours from Central Ohio to Cincinnati and it runs fine. Interior: The truck has rubber floor mats, seating for 6, bench seats front and back. Fairly clean interior, nothing unsightly or odd smelling but has been used. Radio does work, had a/c but needs parts under the hood installed as they were cut out, heater blows hot. Front power windows do not work, rear do. All and all a great ready to use truck ready to hit the open road. Thanks for reading my auction. Truck ran great and had no issues, but mileage needs to be updated by about 400 miles and some how he lost the small drivers side door that is on the truck bed. Its a 12 inch by 12 inch piece of steel, if wanted I can weld a piece over the hole for no fee.
