1982 Honda

This auction is for an 82 Sabre. I have owned this bike for 2 years. During that time I have installed new tires, battery, custom intergrated tailight, custom exposed K&N air filters, crash bar w/ highway pegs, brake pads, and an oil mod (which delivers extra filtered oil to the cams). It runs great, last summer I rode it to wyoming with no problems. I have a brand new seat cover which I will get on the bike before the end of the auction, and will post a pic of it. Included in this auction is a factory service manual, and a tank bag. The only issues with this bike are a small oil leak on the left side, the clutch occasionally slips at wide open throttle/or with a passanger, the speedometer will stick if you let the bike sit for awhile without riding it, but frees up after you begin riding it consistently again. I do have another speedo I will give you with the bike. It only goes up to 85mph whereas the current speedo is from a later year and goes to 150mph, which is why I havent switched them myself. That being said I wouldnt hesitate to ride this bike anywhere. Please remember that everything looks better in pics. I have tried to list this bike as accurately as possible, but nothing is as good as seeing it in person. So please come look at it if possible. This bike is listed locally, but only until 8/20/10. I am going to try and get some more wrinkles out of it tommorrow after it sits in the sun awhile.
