Up for sale is a 2003 BMW X-5. This car is in great shape and runs perfectly; unfortunately I must sell it. I am in the Army, stationed over seas. I bought this car for my fiance who is still in the states, but we are no longer together, so there you go; my loss is your gain. The car is currently in storage and aside from monthly start ups to maintain the battery and keep the tires balanced, it is not being driven. The car has a 5-speed, all-wheel-drive, manual transmission and is very fun to drive. The clutch is soft and all of the gears shift superbly. The interior is grey leather, leather steering wheel and wood grain trim (all in great shape; no cracks, tears or serious wear). All of the power features in the car work (seats, windows, sun roof, stereo, CD changer, etc...). The driver's seat has programable settings for multiple positions. the steering wheel is power adjustable, and the digital trip calculator on the dashboard is a great asset for road trips (the calculator is accessible via controls on the steering wheel). The rear seats are also power adjustable (very nice) and the 5th door opens via electronic push buttons. This Beamer comes with a 6-Disc CD changer (hidden in the rear of the vehicle) and a single disc player in the dashboard (both work perfectly). All of the speakers in the car are in perfect condition and the stereo sounds great (includes stereo controls on the steering wheel). Some of the lights on the digital display of the stereo have burned out, but this does not effect the performance of the stereo (just makes it hard to read the display on the stereo). The car has dual digital climate controls on the dashboard and also has climate controls for the back seat. The rear door windows have retractable window shades for keeping kids comfortable in the back seat. The rear cargo area is spacious and includes a luggage cover for privacy. The electronic sunroof has setting for multiple positions and works perfectly. The car also comes with a factory alarm system. If you have ever owned a BMW, you know that nearly all of the luxury electronic features of this car are adjustable or customizable to the operator's preference (a true luxury). If you have not owned a BMW before, you will be amazed at the extra detail that goes into their luxury features (even compared to other luxury and import cars). It is hard for me to explain all of the details of each electronic feature in the car, you must experience it for yourself. I am the third owner of this car and to ensure my fiance had reliable transportation while I was gone for Army training, this car has received detailed care. The oil is changed every 2500 miles and service is performed at a local BMW shop: Sports and Imports located in Columbus, GA . Since purchasing this car I've had minimal problems. The battery, clutch and flywheel are all brand new (less than 50 miles!!!). The brake pads, as well as the radiator are new (less than 1000 miles!!!) and the tires have less than 15,000 miles on them. My Uncle (who is storing the car for me while I am overseas) has informed me that the AC is on the fritz and since I am out of the country, I have not had the opportunity to get it checked out. It costs on average, $35-$40.00 to fill the gas tank and I can easily get 400 miles to the tank. On the interstate, I've gotten almost 500 miles to the tank (very efficient compared to most SUVs on the market). Don't let the SUV style of this car fool you; it is quick, sporty and very fun to drive!!! The all-wheel-drive transmission of this vehicle, coupled with a well maintained drive train, make it very responsive and stable at high speeds. I have found myself reaching speeds of 90-100 MPH on the interstate before realizing how fast I was actually going (the car is that stable and smooth).
