1973 FORD LTD 2-door 460 V-8 102K MILES! Scroll all the way down for lots of pics! Stay tuned for more info. Ran out time for today! Will have lots of info soon!On Aug-16-10 at 19:05:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Looking for that cool classic cruiser that could pull your boat or your house too? This is it. This is a 1973 Ford LTD 2-door coupe. It only has 102K on the clock, and it purrs like a tiger. This is by far the most powerful vehicle that I have ever driven. I gotta tell ya, I'm an old car guy, and I NEVER beat on any of my cars. But when I bought this I put the accelerator 1/4 of the way down and I was squeeling tires. I kid you not. The old 460 with a 4 barrell is a tough setup. And this one needs nothing. This SURVIVOR car has stood up extremely well. Make no mistake, it's not a show car. But you could turn it into one. Probably new paint would be the first step. The body is uncommonly good, being as this is a Kentucky car. I see no rust-through what so ever on the body. The rear bumper has some rust issues, but I have a NEW rear bumper that I will sell with the car for an additional $150.00. I believe everything works on this old LTD. My dad said that when these came out a lot of people called this a "poor man's Cadillac." After driving it for the last few months, I would agree. This LTD rides like a dream! And the previous long-time owner added air shocks in the rear which are so helpful at raising that rear end when you are towing or just to have a slight rake that makes is look kind of sporty. Interior is very good, with a few seams having opened up under where the driver sits. They have been repaired, and I will add photos of the full front seat shortly. Rear seats are like new. Headliner is like new. Vinyl top is new in the last year. Tires and battery were new in the last year. Over a $400 tune-up performed in the last year. This car is in DRIVE ANYWHERE condition. And you could easily tow your travel trailer since it has a hitch and working trailering wires! The factory 8-track player works great, only needing a little help chaning stations, since the tuner slips. But if you use the push buttons you can change the channels with ease. A/C works but the fan switch has been converted to a "toggle-like" system. It kicks on with the flick of an add-ond switch to high, but it will need a new switch to be able to use the factory adjustable switch. Great car, I'd like to keep it, but I need a new garage to store the 10 classic cars I have! If you can build me a new garage, I'd be happy to put this toward your labor in doing so! Enjoy the auction. I'm sure I'm missing things, so be sure to ask questions. Happy Motoring, and have you driven a '73 Ford lately? On Aug-16-10 at 19:20:50 PDT, seller added the following information: On Aug-16-10 at 19:28:15 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention: there is a dent in the driver's door. I will be working on it this week , so I hope to have it pretty presentable by the auction's end. But just to be clear, there is a dent on the left side of the driver's door--about 6" x 8". No rust through, though. Thanks! On Aug-16-10 at 19:56:16 PDT, seller added the following information: On Aug-19-10 at 18:51:05 PDT, seller added the following information:
