Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1976 AMC/ Jeep CJ7 with a super torquey straight 6 engine, 3 speed manual transmission, 4 inch suspension lift, and great condition 33" On/ Off road tires. I drove this Jeep through the summer and have decided to sell it. Originally from Texas and frame shows it, near perfect condition, no flakes or holes rust wise at all. I have a clear title ready to be transferred to winning bidder. This Jeeps auction will be run with no reserve, so the highest bidder will own it regardless of final price. My zip code is 45248 and my cell phone is (419) 345-1856 if you have any questions. I understand its unnerving buying a vehicle sight unseen on ebay so I request that the bidder ask any questions or even come take a look at it. A $200.00 deposit on Jeep is required within 24 hours of the auction closing to cover ebays high fees. If winning bidder wants to pick up the CJ7 within 24 hours the paypal deposit is not required. I want make it clear that if you examine the Jeep and find I have not listed it accurately I will not hold you to buying it and will still leave positive feedback on your account. If your feedback is less than 10 positive I ask you to send me your full name and phone number through "contact seller" or I'll be forced to cancel you bid and block your name. I can help with shipping as long as the Jeep is paid for in full and we come to an agreed upon price to haul it to you. If you choose not to use paypal or are not familar with how to please call me, 419 345 1856 so we can talk. I know a lot of folks I sell to are concerned about potential scams regarding online transactions. Exterior: Body has been welded together to make it whole again, its not pretty but very functional. With a skim coat of fiberglass filler and a paint job the Jeep would look complete. Frame is great, front brake lines, hoses, and wheel cylinders have been replaced as has the master cylinder. Tires are 33", headlights, taillights work, has turn signals but you have to manually operate the blinking function. Hard top included as are doors, but doors do not fit the Jeep correctly, I believe they are for a soft top. Has true dual exhaust after the headers from the engine. Ruck brush bar on front, 2" ball hitch on back. Drivetrain: Jeep has new Univeral joints, smooth shifting transmission, complete tune up including cap, rotor, wires, plugs, oil change, air filter, and fuel filter. Has an aftermarket Holley carb and a nice set of exhaust headers. Very very torquey motor, really digs into the gears. Clutch is strong, no leaks, heater core is not hooked up as it leaked, I have it by passed. Ignition is currently missing the key and tumbler so to start you simply press the ignition lever in. Engine runs strong, no odd noises. It has four wheel drum brakes, manual locking hubs, and high/low/2high/neutral transfer case. Interior: I welded in sheet metal for both driver and passenger floor. Gauge cluster works, prior owner decided to paint the Jeep black and there is overspray on the gauges. Appears Jeep was originally blue. No rear seat, radio does not work, wipers do work. Has seat belts for both driver and passenger seat. All and all a great ready to use Jeep ready to hit the open road, it is highway ready at 55mph, I have driven it all over Cincinnati. Thanks for reading my auction. You must disconnect the battery terminal from battery if you leave the Jeep sit more than 24 hours as it will drain it, battery is great condition, but the ignition switch needs replaced, I am positive this is the problem, but for me it was easier to just take the battery terminal off.
