On Aug-10-10 at 16:04:11 PDT, seller added the following information: We noticed an error in our listing and are posting this to correct the information. the year of the Car is 1963 NOT 1961 the VIN is HBJ7L21827On Aug-13-10 at 21:22:27 PDT, seller added the following information: We had a couple questions as to the current state of the the car,,, In a nutshell.. The pictures you see where the car is assembled and has the windshield installed is from about 6 years ago when we moved from one house to another. At that time, the Motor and Trans were already removed. Since that time, the entire front end and was disassembled and stored. At present, the front end is off the car. The body panels are loosely installed on the car and the front end is resting on a dolly. The lower door skin was cut off to start a repair, but never completed. The rear end is still in the car . The pictures showing the front end in primer are from about 5 years ago, Thus the car has "seasoned' with some flash rust since that time. Many of the common nut and bolt fasteners have been removed and discarded. 90% of the car is there. the parts aren't perfect, they will need rebuilding / refurbishing / cleaning up. An example are the carbs .. They are there, whole, all linkages etc. the bolts that mount them are likely in a coffee can. , but the carbs will require overhaul. The top frame is there, as are the wooden pieces. the bow will require a media blast, primer and paint and the wood parts will need to be recovered and repaired. The steering is setup for US Domestic driving We didn't document and catalog every detail. The parts to the car are on shelves in my garage / basement some in boxes, some in plastic bins (about 20) and some leaning against the wall (Exhaust, Steering, Tires etc) . It will take a pickup truck and a trailer to transport the chassis and all of the parts. This will take a couple of hours and I will be happy to assist you in loading, but you shouldn't expect that we will crate, secure, and pack each item. It might be a challenge if you are planning to hire a third party with transport trailer if they are not aware of the chassis and boxes. Give me a call if you have any questions (917) 439-7121 . If you wish, we can make arrangements to inspect the chassis / parts. Good luck and happy bidding
