1972 Ford Ranchero GT, 351-2V Engine with C-4 Automatic Trans. I bought this vehicle in Nov. 1999 and put a rebuilt Recon/Auto Zone 351 engine in it and also put a rebuilt C-4 transmission and torque converter in it in Sept. 2001. I became disabled in Feb. 2002 and the car has been driven very little since. The engine only has about 600 miles on it it since put in in 2001. The car has been parked inside of a garage since I got it in 1999. The engine cost $850.00 and the transmission cost $275.00. Also had a rebuilt Motorcraft carb put on at rebuild and a new fuel pump.(There IS NOT a Holley carb under the Holley air cleaner). Still have the original steering wheel (pictured), comes with 2 sets of sport mirrors (pictured), New arm rest pads for door panels (2) $70.00 (pictured), New turn signal switch from NAPA, was $78.00 (pictured), New Battery put in 7/15/2010 ($67.50). The air conditioning is all there except the idler pulley and belt, it did not work when I got the car and still is not hooked up. The interior is all original and in very good shape, no rips or tears in seats, carpets original and very good,(owner before me said seats were covered with plastic seat covers for 25 years) inside door panels are still lose from putting new window wipe seals at the bottom of the glass in, but needs to be lose to put new arm rests on and mirrors on. There is one crack in the center of the padded dash, all glass is good. Tires are in good condition, 50% wear left, there are air shocks on the rear. Radio works and is a Pioneer with a cassette. (Can't find speakers and grills for doors but will keep looking).(Found the door speakers and grills but they are not the originals, but will include them). Glove box manual and interior assembly manual included. Needs some minor (dents) body work and has a little rust behind rear wheels, otherwise a solid body car. This is a real GT, has the 48 body code which stands for factory GT. Comes with Marti report. I believe this to be original mileage but no guarantee on it.
