Video links of car are below. *** I'm back home from out of town. Those of you that are sending mechanics and/or coming to see the car tomorrow, I will give you a call tonight before 9:30PM CST to set up each visit. As you can see I added the pics. There are a couple of the engine removal, one that shows the new fender still wrapped up, the old exhaust and the original engine. When I was setting up for this photo I found a tire I kept from my last tire change. Was going to put it on a standard size rim and get rid of the donut. It's yours also. Take a close look at the three fender pics. Hopefully you can see what I was talking about in the video. While it's difficult to see, it IS there. First: If you are out of town, I will fly you in to Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) on a standby "buddy pass" basis via Delta airlines at my expense IN THE CONTINENTAL US. You MUST be 18 years or older! Flying standby means if seats are available, you get on, if NOT, you don't get on. Before you go to the airport, we will both have a very good idea whether you will get on or not. I have excellent feedback and have flown three people in to Houston Bush Intercontinental to pick up their eBay winnings. ALL were more than thrilled to have gotten that kind of service for a vehicle purchase over the internet! BTW, this car will drive from Maine to Los Angeles without ANY issues! Second: I am currently out of town, but will post additional detailed photos and additional or replacement You Tube videos (see below) when I get back home Wednesday...so keep looking back at auction for updated material. Photos should be posted Thursday of this week. The VIN listed above is correct. The car has been paid off for years. I have the title in hand! I am selling this because my kid's legs are getting too long to ride in the car comfortably. Just purchased a used mini-van, so this car will be passed on to someone that needs/wants a good economical car. I'm am the original owner of this Corolla. I purchased the car brand new with 9 miles on it from Fred Hass Toyota on 45 North in Houston, Texas. Had Fred Hass added cruise control per my request for my driving comfort when I was a South Texas Sales rep for Unifirst corporation and did LOTS and LOTS of driving. While with Unifirst I put approximately 52K miles on the vehicle over the course of the first 2 years, changed jobs and then the mileage was local plus family road trips here and there. While working in south Texas, my windshield cracked from a rock chip and I had it replaced. Currently this same replaced windshield has two little chips (see video till photos Thurs). Approximatley 130K miles I replaced the clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. While I had the tranny out, I also replace both main output drive bearings/races and CV joints. In March 2010 the engine began consuming a quart of oil per tank of gas and smoked some when I took off fast. Long story short, replaced O2 sensors twice before I found out my catalytic convertor was plugged because the engine burning oil. In May, on Craigslist I located and purchased a 2006 Corolla engine with ~25K miles on it and replace my oil burning engine. During installation of the '06 engine, I replaced the exhaust with new factory exhaust (manifold back to muffler-including catalytic convertor). All is well. Gas mileage (35-36 mpg) and power are both very good with '06 engine (see video). IF you want the original engine, I have it and will load it up in the trunk for you. The ONLY thing wrong with original engine is the rings. It will either need a ring job or bored with oversized piston. If you don't want it, I will rebuild and sell for another $1K myself. About 6(?) years ago someone LIGHTLY sideswiped the front left fender (see video) in a Wal-Mart parking lot while I was in shopping. I popped out the dent myself. Purchase a brand new fender to replace the dented one, but never got around to it. It is still wrapped in bubble wrap in my shop. It will go along with car also. The cup holder under radio wore out last year. I replaced it with a new one at that time. Several years back the A/C condensor got a pin hole in it from a rock strike while driving. I plugged hole with JB weld. That worked for a while. Just last week I replaced the condensor with a brand new unit and recharged AC. All is well there. The head liner has a couple of "worn" spots (see video). One over the passenger sun visor where I keep the garage remote control...my reaching and rubbing the garage door opener button over the years has abraded the headliner. In the very back, the headliner has JUST STARTED to come loose (frayed) from the back (see video). I've called around to salvage yards in the last week, but cant find a headliner that I would accept. Replacement includes removing sunvisors, hold handles and two push pins in back. IF I find a headliner before you buy it, I will replace. If not, then it goes as is. Wednesday of next week I will have the exterior compounded and buffed out to a nice luster. I will also change the oil and filter AND balance tires one last time and fill the tank with gas. Brakes are new all the way around and I will remove the wheels Wed and take pics of the brakes and add to posted pics. Very decent one owner family car....non-smoke and non-animals also! That's all I can think of right now. Will update if I come up with anything else. BTW, I'm changing the oil now, will compound/polish the exterior shortly, clean interior and then late this afternoon I will go get the tires balanced.
