Vehicle was traded in by a antique car collector and race car teams sponsor,who kept the car in excellent condition and garaged ,at one of his mansions in the Chicago suburbs. Car comes with all the books,2 remote keys,the original sticker price of 136800$ from 1998,tools,never mounted spare,and the unused front license plate braket(if your state requires installation). Interior is sparkling,did not need any detail,clean,non smoker owned,most likely did not haul many passengers aside from his owner,floormats look new,the seats with napa leather inserts,carpeting and leather stiched dash and headliner look perfect. All options work perfect,tested,it has the rear parktronic option too and a factory installed K40 radar detector. AC blows ice cold air. The engine compartment is a pleasure just to look at,the V12 engine is quite a site,runs dead quiet,smooth at all speeds with fenomenal power. We had the car inspected by our local independent MB mechanic,just to see exactly the condition of this toy ,one can never be sure with this limited production flagship Mercedes. Inspection shows a solid car,suspension,brake pads,exhaust,transmission pan,under engine pan,all look clean and our mechanic stated that there are obvious signs that the vehicle has a remanufactured/new transmission installed not long ago,pointing out to the bolts and gaskets and pan that looked new.Tester showed no hidden or pending codes in the computer.We also mesured the level of the syntehic oil in the transmission(you need a service dipstick for that,it is sealed) and found it clean and at the level,antifreeze is fresh and car has a almost new water pump and serpentine belt,noticed at the inspection.Rear suspension hydraulics do NOT leak and are functioning properly,also the ADS system,standard on this car,works fine,adjusting the ride between sport and comfort. We found 2 small issues that the new owner wish or not to resolve:there is a small,insignificant seepeage from one of the steering box seals,not worth dealing with,for now,and a rear shock "upper strut mount,part #140 320 09 44 " that is noisy up to 10-20 mph,it is a 80$ part,if you wish to change it fine,if not,live with the noise. This is a extra clean car,coming from a wealthy owner,if you allways wanted a V12,resonable priced,it might be the right car for you,however,there is no such thing as a cheap to maintain or keep, S600.
