1998 Buick Regal GS w/ Supercharged 3.8L V6 114,704 Miles 3 - DAY AUCTION NO RESERVE!!! This car has been in a wreck and is being sold AS IS. I love this car, but unfortunately the frame is bent, leaving it beyond my repair / financial capabilities. The nose of the vehicle slid into a small ditch during a heavy snow last March. It was at a very slow speed, but the weight of the vehicle itself caused the body and frame some significant damage. You can see the bent frame, along with the body damage in the photos. The car still runs and should get you anywhere you need to go for repairs / parting out. I've actually been using it as a daily driver since the wreck in March (including a couple long road trips), but I don't recommend doing so. Damage due to wreck: - Frame is bent in the front on the driver's side - On sharp right turns, there is a rubbing noise in the driver's side wheel well. I'm am guessing the tire has a clearance issue due to the frame being shifted. This is the main reason I don't recommend driving the vehicle for too long a time without some kind of repair. - Front bumper, left, and right fenders are in need of replacement. Other issues: - Rear passenger side window is missing (Vehicle was recently robbed as well. No other damage resulting from theft). There will be some residue from taping up the window from rain, but this can be easily cleaned. - Rear windows are in need of window motors - Tensioner pulley on engine needs to be replaced at some point. - Supercharger bearing needs to be replaced at some point. These typically need servicing at around 100,000 miles. A repair kit can be found Ebay. - The electronic door key went bad, so all I have on hand is one ignition key. Items in working condition: - Engine and Transmission appear to be undamaged. The engine runs smoothly and quietly apart from a light rattling from the supercharger bearing that needs replacement. - The vehicle has fairly new Firestone FR710 tires that were purchased in December. - The vehicle has factory alloy wheels which are easily parted out or recycled. - Interior and leather is in above average condition with no tears. - All power seats and power locks work. All power window switches work except for the fact that the rear windows need new motors. Sunroof in working order. - Clean Title The car will need to be paid for and picked up promptly. I will be leaving town for good early on the 11th, so you will need to pick it up by then if you want to have the title signed in front of you. My roommates will still be here till the 31st, but it is preferable that you pick up the vehicle before I leave. Call me to discuss any other arrangements or to arrange a viewing.
