Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a very nice 1969 XKE 2+2 SERIES 11/2,,4.2L motor with 4 speed trans.,that is in very good condition all around! The body is very straight and the paint is about a year old and is very nice and shiney. The chrome, trim and bumpers are all in very good shape. The car always starts right up and shifts thru all the gears like it should. It drives straight down the road with no pulling to either side.It has had a complete brake job with new calipers, new master cylinder etc.[I have reciepts for it].The brakes still need to be bled as it takes 1 pump to bring the pedal all the way up[if I have time I will have it done before auction end].The motor does not smoke at all and holds oil pressure at 40 to 60lbs all the time and it just had a complete valve adjustment done also[less than 100 miles ago at a professional repair shop].All the electrical, guages, tach, heater all work, except the speedo which stopped working a few months ago.I have the original spare, jack and knock off hammer that goes with the car.The car looks as good in person as it does in the pics,it gets compliments every where I have gone in it.IT IS A VERY STRIKING SERIES11/2 JAG.I am sorry to sell it but I have to pay off some bank loans, check my feedback and bid with confidence. If you have any questions you can call me on my cell[208-664-0125] or give me 24hrs.to return emails. Thanks Harry. On Aug-12-10 at 13:53:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I FINALLY GOT A CHANCE TO GET PICS OF UNDERNEATH OF CAR AND ADDED THEM .THERE IS SOME SLIGHT YELLOWISH TINT TO SOME PICS,IT IS A REFLECTION FROM THE HALOGEN LIGHTS I USED.THE ONLY RUST I COULD SEE WAS SOME VERY SLIGHT SURFACE ON THE TAILPIPES[WOULD EASILY COME OFF WITH A WIRE BRUSH].iF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL ME[208-664-0125] OR GIVE ME 24HRS.TO RETURN EMAILS.THANKS AGAIN,HARRY
