More pictures at: http://www.thesherwoodgang.com/62_Jeep/green_cj5/ *** I'll also throw in a CJ5 plow setup. It is the one on the jeep in this picture http://www.thesherwoodgang.com/62_Jeep/as_bought/withplow.jpg I dug out the Bestop brand soft top with full soft doors from my other CJ5. It's been patched several times, needs the rear window repaired, and in general is well used, but it is complete. Some door hinge mounts need to be put on the fiberglass tub for the door. Some of the snaps on the body need to be replaced. Pics of it off and on are at http://www.thesherwoodgang.com/62_Jeep/bestop/ Video of jeep running around my driveway with the old tires/rims on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVJOCJKV8n8 Clear Title. Running and driving. I restored the chassis. I tore it down 100%, sand blasted, POR15, new shocks, leaf spring bushings, bolts, motor mounts, tranny/t-case mounts, changed diff fluids, etc. It has all new brakes and brake lines. I rebuilt the steering box as well. It has a new under the seat gas tank. I put a set of used, but 50%+ tread 31" tires and rims on it that have no leaks or plugs. A couple pics of the bare frame: http://www.thesherwoodgang.com/62_Jeep/POR15Frame1.jpg http://www.thesherwoodgang.com/62_Jeep/POR15Frame2.jpg The Motor is a nice running L-Head with a newer carb and new willys works GM Alternator conversion. I put in a new mid 80s Toyota radiator. No smoke or unusual noises. It's a nice running L-head. I believe it's a 1948 L-Head, but not positive. Body is all fiberglass except for the radiator support. Radiator support has some rust, but I have another if you want it. I also have a very nice complete metal front end that is NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION. It has some extra holes from the previous owner who had it on a chassis with a 6" lift. The hole where the tranny/t-case is not real nice, but will eventually be covered up by a plate anyway. Body is solid and mounted with 1.5" body lift using new parts. The dash is metal with a wood overlay. I have not put the windshield latches on because I was going to remove the wood. The seats are original early CJ5 with correct mounts. They need recovered and the pass side is just sitting on the floor and needs mounted. What it needs to be inspected - the wiring finished and the e-brake hooked up - THAT'S IT. Brakes work good as they are all new, it drives good (like a 63 CJ5:)
