Vehicle Detail
This is a solid and original bulletnose convertible. Very rare and one of Studebakers most collectible cars. Car has been in storage for about 10 years but it does start and run very well. We have not driven it long distances but the previous owner rebuilt the engine and transmission. Brakes have been redone as well. This bulletnose has a very solid body and undercarriage as you can see in the pictures. I personally like the paint as it is. Would make an excellent beach cruiser as you cannot duplicate the patina of the paint. We have new whitewall tires and many parts which come along with the car. Convertible top frame is complete but does not have the cloth top. Interior is in good shape but the carpet is missing. As this is such a solid car, the options are endless and you could enjoy the car as it is or completely restore it. This is one of Studebakers most historical cars with the front end modeling after the P38 airplanes. We have had this car in our private collection for about 6 years. Currently on a bill of sale but we are applying for a title. We would like the buyer to send us a deposit within 3 days and final payment within 10 days. Pickup within 2 weeks. We are flexible in our terms and can be flexible if we come to an agreement prior to the auctions end. We are happy to work with international buyers and will do what we can to help you with your special needs. We are flexible and want this car to go to a good home. Please review the pictures and let us know if you have any questions. I can be reached via ebay messaging or on my cell phone at 708-205-2043. My name is Steve and I am generally available. If you get my voicemail, please leave a message and I will return the call right away. I will also return calls to international bidders promptly. This is a rare chance to own a truly historical and unique vehicle. Check out our other listings as we also have a Golden Hawk up for sale. Many People are calling about the condition of the body, engine and transmission. the body is very solid. There are stickers on the car indicating it came from Nebraska. It is a very solid original body. It is not a rusty car that has been repaired, but a solid original. The previous owner rebuilt the engine and transmission. Brakes have also been redone. This Bulletnose could be driven the way it looks now or you could paint it, add a cloth top and go from there. Interior is solid but old. For a full restoration you would probably want to restore it but it is usable as it is. good luck bidding. not many of these exist in this solid shape. On Aug-04-10 at 20:44:04 PDT, seller added the following information:many people are calling from all over the world asking similar questions. Yes with the parts that come with the car, there is the chrome window frame for the rear window in the convertible top. We also have four white wall tires which are new or almost new. many other parts to numerous to list. new set of hubcaps. I would guess that most parts are there to finish the car, but i cant guarantee it. A studebaker enthusiast told me there were about $5,000 parts included with the car. Keep the questions coming as I will answer all of them to help the auction. Good luck.
