Vehicle Detail
Here's your chance to win one of the rarest Willys Jeep 4x4 trucks ever built! It's in running and driving condition but it has been sitting for years. When I discovered it a few years ago, most of the brake lines were replaced, the clutch was replaced, and all the lights were made to be fully operational. The Parkway Conversion is very unique in that it has sedan delivery rear doors, and flush mounted side glass on the rear of the body, and this was all factory as a special order option. It's very solid considering its age. It has a couple rust issues. The drivers side floor and rocker panel (Flat metal and an easy fix), and the right rear door is rusted pretty badly. (Not sch an easy fix, but I've seen quite a few replacements for sale over the years). I purchased replacement doors and fenders for it that are pretty solid, and they are included in the auction. Drive it as-is for a sweet rat rod or restore to it's former glory. One of the coolest features is the this is vehicle is equipped with a extremely rare PTO driven Liquid Carbonic brand, on-board welder and generator. The old in line 6 cylinder has also been replaced with a very nice running Buick 340 V8. All modifications appear to have been done back in the 70's which makes this a pretty cool survivor. Please contact me to set up a time to come and check it. I'm no expert on Willys and have probably missed some other cool modifications and features. This truck is 50 years old so please don't expect it to be perfect, but it is definitely nicer than many I've seen. -Extremely, extremely rare Parkway Conversion model -Operational PTO driven welder/generator -Belt driven governor to maintain engine RPM for welding / generating -Buck 340 V8 that runs very well (Mileage unknown, but the whole truck has 73K original -New electronic ignition and coil -GM Power steering (50's Pontiac??) -High pressure engine driven hydraulic system that has an electric clutch to disengage -Includes snowplow with hydraulic turn and down pressure (Yep, it's pretty much a bulldozer too!) -Includes replacement fenders and doors -New clutch -New brake lines -Vintage green window tint film in the rear (glass all appears to be in good shape, and the tint could probably be easily removed) -T-90 top loader three speed transmission -Dana Spicer 18 transfer case with OEM twin sticks -Rare lock-outs on the front axle I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as it is also for sale locally. On Aug-02-10 at 19:13:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I've added a photo of a light that's plugged into the generator as it's running. On Aug-02-10 at 19:23:32 PDT, seller added the following information: The straps and brackets that you see on the left side behind the driver seat were used to mount Oxy Acetylene tanks for gas welding and running a torch. Check your local traffic laws before reinstalling as things have changed a little since the 60's!
