MOST MERCEDES DIESELS HAVE NOT HAD THE INJECTOR PUMP AND LINKAGE TUNED SINCE THEY WERE NEW WHICH EVENTUALLY LEADS TO LOTS OF POWER LOSS. THIS CAR HAS HAD THE INJECTOR PUMP AND LINKAGE TUNED BACK TO FACTORY SPEC BY SILVER STAR AUTOMOTIVE IN FORT WORTH, TX (THE LOCAL MERCEDES DIESEL SPECIALIST) AND IT IS VERY FAST - AND GETS EXCELLENT FUEL MILEAGE. I ROUTINELY SEE 25-28 MILES PER GALLON, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET JUST OVER 30 MPG IF DRIVEN CONSERVATIVELY. *MOST OF THESE CARS HAVE LITTLE "GLITCHES" THAT ANNOY ME TERRIBLY, BUT THIS ONE IS VERY SOLID AND WELL-SORTED.
