2008 Honda Civic Hybrid w/ Navigation and HondaCare extended warranty Description For sale is a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid 4 door sedan with in dash Navigation in Magnetic Pearl (dark blue/gray) with only 22,362 miles and an extended 6 year or 100K mile bumper to bumper Honda Care Warranty purchased with the car through Honda. The car has had only 1 owner and the CarFax report is perfectly clean. The car has dark blue interior which is a good dark match to the paint. The car is EPA rated at 45 miles per gallon highway / 40 mpg city. Tons of features: Navigation, XM Radio (current subscription), Voice Command and steering wheel audio controls, Cruise Control, IPOD auxillary outlet. The car is a non-smoking vehicle. The reason for sale is due to a change in commute, from about 40 miles per day to walking distance, which does not allow me to realize the full potential of this great hybrid. It is super quiet and very easy to drive with very minimal blind spots due to its large windows and windshield. Imperfections Small crack < 1 inch on windshield middle bottom (repaired) can barely notice while driving Small chip of paint on roof above passanger door belived to be from tree sap drip Scratch on middle of back bumper about 3 inches long. This could be easily repaired with scratch remover, however I opted to not repair it so buyer could do what they deem best. A few superficial scratches on hood that can be buffed out. The back right door and quarter panel were repainted by the Honda Dealership when it was scratched at a supermarket in 2009. The paint looks even better than it would have if it were not repainted. Included as standard equipment are power windows, power door locks with remote entry, power side mirrors, a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, automatic climate control, CD player, auxiliary audio input jack, an outside temperature display, and Honda’s Maintenance Minder system. The Civic Hybrid also gets several special color choices that are not offered on other Civics. The 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid combines a gasoline-burning, 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine with an Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system that includes an electric assist motor and a nickel metal hydride battery pack. Total combined output is 110 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 123 lb.-ft. of torque between 1000 and 2500 rpm running on regular unleaded fuel. A continuously variable transmission deliver the combined power to the front wheels, while a regenerative braking system is used to recharge the battery pack when stopping the vehicle or when coasting down a hill. The Honda Civic Hybrid meets strict AT-PZEV (Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle) standards in California. Standard safety features on the 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid include the automaker’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure, which is designed to help absorb crash energy and deflect it from the passenger cabin. Additionally, the Civic Hybrid includes six airbags: dual front airbags, side-impact airbags, and side curtain airbags. Antilock brakes with brake assist are also standard. Stability and traction control are not offered on the Honda Civic Hybrid.
