You are bidding on a 1993 Honda Civic Si. It is a Hatchback and Has the 1.6 Liter Motor and the 5 Speed manual Transmission. I am a professional mechanic and came across this needing an E.C.U. I put one in it and redid the parts google said went bad throughout there production and started driving it. It is by far the funnest car I have ever driven and Is going to get me thrown in jail. It MUST GO!! This is an E-Bay Exclusive and although it is being advertised IT WILL BE SOLD HERE!!! I am putting together a little presentation with pics and vids explaining everything about the car. All in all I consider it to be in great condition but you will be able too decide after seeing this "production" :-) "Contact Seller" Me here for the Details. On Aug-07-10 at 16:14:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I apologize for the un-attention paid to this auction. This has been quite the week. In an attempt to make up for the crappy description I have added pictures and the following paragraphs about this car. I bought this car off a long time customer when it came in one day with a fried E.C.U. I bought a replacement ECU with a ziff socket and custom chip. It has been tweaked slightly to give it about a 15% percent gain over stock ECU`s and hasnt had any related problems since. The ziff socket allows for replacing the ecu without needing to know how to solder. Its now a plug-in type. Googling this make and model car you quickly realize the majority of problems with these are electrical related so I replaced the distributor with a life-time warranty Auto-zone distributor. This includes the coil and ignition module. The other problem relates to the starter relay loosing its ability to make contact rendering the car useless. I have re-soldered the related contacts making this a non-issue. The A\c system held a charge LAST YEAR but the resulting noise from the compressor was so annoying i disabled the A\C altogether. YOU WILL NEED AN AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR TO MAKE THIS CAR HAVE AIR. IT GETS BETWEEN 36-40= MPG DEPENDING (GREATLY) ON HOW YOU DRIVE. The original paint code (color under the hood) is visible and the paint can be bought for about $150. The labor and tools would be extra. The drivers side has been partially filled with aluminum based bondo. This was my first attempt at doing this and quickly decided it wasnt fun. drivers side door needs more filling. Passenger side door still has stock rubber things installed. (see pics) Other then this.....there are no dents, rust or any metal deficiencies in this vehicle. The body is in great shape for what it is. Youll need a windshield as this one has one long crack across the bottom and two sizeable chips. The hatch needs replacement struts in order for it to stay up. It does function and close properly. I have just adjusted the valves and replaced the spark plugs this month prior to deciding to sell it. Cold air injection kit is included. Sounds awesome :-) Nice CD changer and speakers. NOT A SYSTEM just good audio. C.V. Boots are intact as is the exhaust. All in all this is a great car. Please bear in mind the mileage and realize things could change tomorrow. Although I`d have no trouble taking off in this car anywhere. Your results may vary. DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR IF YOU DONT UNDERSTAND CARS IN GENERAL.
