Vehicle Detail
I am the third owner of this car and have owned it for the past 10 years. Over this period I have not put more than 42,000 miles on this car. I have always maintained in and kept it garage kept as this was more of a Sunday car for me. I am simply selling the car because I have lost interest in it and would rather see someone enjoy the car. I have recently moved on to other projects. Last year I had the mass-airflow sensor, the throtle body, rear acumulators (hydraulic rear suspension) and main electrical harness replaced. These are all common parts that go wrong with this model when they have this type of milage. At the same time the timing chain and guides were checked and found to be in good condition therefore they did not have to be changed. All these repairs cost me about $4000.00. The car runs strong and shifts smoothly, suspension is excellent and very smooth even though the car is slightly lowered. The rear can be lowered even more to give it a more agressive look. This is done via an adjustable arm under the car. The Interior is in excellent shape, the leather is supple, plyable, has no rips or tears. There are no stains anywhere in the car and the dash is clean without any cracks or sun fading of any sorts. Some of the upgrades I have done to the car over the time I owned it are: LED Rear Lights Tinted Windows TV's in rear headrest Lowering Springs HID Lighting Chrome trim accessories inside and outside S600 and V12 badges Before the repairs I started replacing the sound system since the factory amp blew and for the price of replacing the amp I was able to get a Pioneer Touchscreen Flip out radio, Navigation system (DVD Player). Since the car went into repair while I was installing this I never finsihed the installation. I will give all the accessories that were never installed to the winner. I have no interest in hiding anything about the car so here are the negatives: The sunroof opens but does not pop up The AC has a leak in the system somewhere because when refilled it only blows cold for about a week Since I have had the car stored away the battery which is dead so I have been jumping it with a jumper box. I currently have the battery on a charger so I will know later if it holds a charge Since I have the older HID setup, the car has no high beams but all wiring to restore is present The closing latch on the trunk does not retract These lights are lit on the instrument panel: ASR and Lamp Out The chrome on the rims are a bit pitted, tires are 95% thread In regards to the car record provided by ebay it shows an accident reported in Dec 2007 as "impact with parked car". This is incorrect , my car was parked and a person backing up to park rubbed up against my front drivers side fender. I have put a picture of the fender where it shows a dent on the wheel well. I have police report to prove that the ebay record is incorrect.
