1972 PORSCHE 914 1.7 with Spare Alum Rims Restore-Ready Autombile or use for a parts car If you already own a 914 you know that you need one. The car has been stored in a heated garage since last fall. The side rockers are rusty as shown but the doors close sooothly and I even jumped up and down with a friend on the side rockers and the car seems fine and solid. We did have the car running last year but have taken some parts off it since We took a bunch of hoses, the throttle cable and some of the Porsche emblems then we gave up. The battery compartment is rusted out but the floor is solid. Nice tires in good shape on the car. Car comes with two spare tires also and all the servicing documentation from the previous owner as well as the title and an outdated Registration. Also you get the original Owners Manual and NEW copy of the book 914 and 914 6 A Restorers Guide to Authenticity By Dr. B. Johnson as well as a Service & Repair Handbook by Clymer Pubishing The car has the original steel rims on it as shown but again there is more as well- a Set 4 Vintage PS PORSCHE 15 in. Aluminum Rims complete with Caps. The aluminum needs some cleaning up but the top rim I polished up quick in just five minutes to show what can be done. These can be brought back to original lustre with a bit of Aluminum Polish and buffing. As to whether this is a restore project car or a parts car is up to the buyer SO THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS - NO REFUNDS Winning bidder to pay and pickup car within ten 10 Days of the close of Auction at our location.
