This is my second s-type, the other was an 3.0 V6, so I can tell you with confidence that the 4.0 is a much nicer car. It has all availalbe amenities and features including Moonroof. No sacrifice in fuel efficiency (over 24 MPG highway) and much more power and performance. This car has been executive owned and driven and in very nice condition. Interior is near perfect other than a few hairline cracks in the dash, and the exterior is in good condition with only a few minor door dings that a little PDR could easily fix. Tires have ton of tread left, (about 20k miles on this set) and there are absolutely no known mechanical flaws in the car.
