This is my personal truck that I have owned since 1984. It has seen many different engine/trans combinations over the years therefore I have listed the mileage as 2K. This is the amount of miles since the latest engine/trans/rear were installed. The truck has over 100K on it but since the complete nut-bolt frame off restoration in 1999-2001 the truck has about 5K miles on it. Which is the main reason for selling – the truck is awesome and still in show winning condition I am just tired of letting it sit. Someone needs to be driving and showing this truck. During the restoration the truck was restored to my personal tastes and to be a driver so there are a few things that are not “original” – which are highlighted below. The is still very show worthy and should do well in any show you choose to attend. It has won several 1st's at the National Lil Red Owners show and has won over 30 first place awards at shows though out Florida and Georgia. But it is built to run and run quick! currently. A/C SYSTEM - just had an ebayer question the a/c system operation. The system is all new compressor, condensor, all pieces underdash including cables BUT the lines have NOT been installed and the system of course has not been charged and tested since the new engine was installed. OVERALL TRUCK DETAILS - Complete frame off restoration completed in 1999-2001 including all new old stock parts – very few reproduction parts where available back then. - The bed wood is clear finished and still looks like new - The beds strips and all bolts are polished stainless steel - The prop nuts are solid polished stainless steel - The engine no longer has any emissions equipment - Chrome plated tailgate hinges and tail light brackets - Custom painted and carpeted flush mount fiberglass bed cover - No radio installed at this time – has speakers in doors - Curtain carpet installed behind bench seat - Undercoating sprayed under inner fender wells - Frame and all suspension components painted with POR-15 in various colors. ENGINE/TRANS/REAR DETAILS - Non original 360 stroked to 408 cubic inches - Approximately 400 HP and 450 lbs of torque - Cast iron heads professionally ported and polished - Factory intake with thermoquad built by Demonsizzler - Comp Cam – Extreme Energy w/.525 lift - 9.5-1 forged pistons - Hedman Elite headers - 727 transmission built by Turbo Action still full automatic - 3,000 rpm stall convertor (10”) from Turbo Action - Eaton-Detrot Tru-Trac differential with 3.55 gear NO RESERVE – BID TO WIN!
