Today we have for sale a 1965 Triumph Tiger T100SC ( Sports Competition ) model in great running and riding condition. This low mileage bike looks to be mostly original with the exception of the head and tail lights. Very fun bike to ride and doesn't smoke or make any funny noises. The clutch, gearbox and brakes work just as they should. This bike still has the original ET ( Energy Transfer ) Ignition and runs and starts great without a battery. These bike came with a special 5 wire stator and were factory designed to run without a battery. The great thing about this set up is you can leave the bike sitting for weeks and it starts rite up, no battery drama. All the electrics work good and even the original horn still works. The bike has matching frame and engine numbers and is currently registered with a California title. Speedo works great and shows 7,375 miles on it. The tachometer works when it feels like it and will need to be serviced. The only recommended work would be replacing the rubber push rod tube seals. These have dried out over the years and leak. A top end gasket set comes with the bike and the seals can be replaced by any competent mechanic. This is a great opportunity to buy a unmolested vintage Triumph at a reasonable price.
