Up for auction is an '83 Honda GL650I Silverwing Interstate (aka The Baby Goldwing). This bike was only manufactured in 1983 so it is a pretty rare bike. As far as this one goes for a 27 year old bike this one is in good shape. There are some scratches and surface rust but there are no missing parts except the factory fairing mirrors were stolen off the bike, I replaced them with long stem oval handlebar mirrors. I recently replaced the stator and gaskets on the back side of the engine and added some lights and replaced the spark plugs as well. It has brand new Kenda K361 cruiser tires front and back. The engine is a 2 cylinder V-twin that sits sideways in the frame, it is shaft driven and air ride suspension. There are no leaks on this bike at all and the engine fires and runs great. The only downside to it is the scratches and surface rust on some of the bike but with a little TLC this bike could look great.On Jul-21-10 at 16:17:54 PDT, seller added the following information:Last chance for this bike on ebay if it doesnt sell I am trading it in.
