This is a good running TR-6. The car has a solid body and frame and running gear. The engine is original and all the Guages are in the car. The interior needs to be redone, although the seats are in good condition and the original wood dash has been removed and refinished. The wood dash has been set in place for the pictures. The convertible top is new with clear windows. There is also a new toneau cover that comes with the car. The car can be driven as it is, however it has been in storage for quite some time and I would recommend that it be trailered to the new owner's home. The mileage on the car is showing 11,411 and is a five digit odometer. I do not know the actual mileage it is exempt due to the age. Please note there is one small hole below the passenger door in the rocker panel that needs to be repaired and there is some rust around the right headlight. The paint is checked and should be repainted to complete a restoration on this car. You will also note that the passenger compartment floor pans are all original and very solid (no holes or rust). For an unrestored original TR-6 this is a very nice car and would not take too much work to make this look as good as it did when it first went down the highway in 1970. My brother in Law is on the road a lot and we may be able to deliver the car on his trailer for a fee to cover gas and tolls. This is a very nice car that should be restored and was the last year for the high compression engine that was part of the Triumph Driving Experience and the TR-6 in particular.
