Very low mileage, all original BMW 1502-2002tii. This "economy model" is very rare. This particular vehicle was imported privately from Europe but currently has a Canadian title, easily transferrable to a new owner in another province or state. Here is an excerpt from the wikipedia article on this car: "An economy model of the 2002, the 1502 had a low compression 1.6 L engine. It was sold only in Europe from 1975 through 1977. The 1802, a 2002 with a 1.8 L motor as used in the 1800 sedan, was also available." Don't let the smaller engine fool you, this car is still a lot of fun to drive. Chances are if you are viewing this ad, you already know what a 1502 is, so I will provide more details about this specific car: It does run and drive, however, it should still be considered a project car as it will likely need work to pass your provincial or state inspection. I have not had it inspected as my plan was to just tinker with it and drive it occasionally, but financial constraints are forcing me to sell this car before getting into my project. While no mechanic has looked at it to formally determine everything that it will need I can say that the engine is sound - no ticks or knocks, runs quite smoothly at idle and at speed. The brakes will probably need to be worked on, the pedals are sometimes a bit sticky, and the driveshaft will also need some work. This is a running driving car, but please be aware that it is not currently roadworthy by most standards, and I believe that it reflected in the price. Once this car has had some TLC it will easily be worth $6,000-$10,000, as aside from being such a rare model, having one with only 25,800 original kilometres is quite exceptional. It does take almost all the same parts as a regular 2002.
