Vehicle Detail
2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 4.0L 6cyl. – Loaded 89,600 miles Black exterior, dark grey leather interior All time 4 wheel drive Leather seats Heated seats (2 levels each) Power windows Power locks Power seats (driver and passenger) Heated mirrors Air conditioning (works) Cruise control ABS Air bags Auto dimming rear view mirrow AM/FM/Cassette/10-disc changer Moon roof Custom tinted front windows (tint matches the rear windows) Aftermarket trailer hitch Full size spare on matching wheel This was my car until last month when I bought a new SUV. Runs great – was always garaged until 2008. I bought the car as a certified pre-owned vehicle in 2003 when it had 24,000 miles on it from Manhattan Jeep on 11th Ave in NYC (it had just come off lease from the original owner). Very clean inside and out. Car is 10 years old, so the body has some expected dings but no rust and cosmetically looks good. Plastic bumpers also have marks from parking lot dings (again, it is 10 years old). Car needs new brakes and rotors (front and rear). I have 2 estimates for the work: one for $715 from my garage and one for $650 from Meineke. Car also needs an alignment ($90 at my garage). So I would categorize it as a car that is in “Good” condition on kbb.com but needs $800 worth of work to get there. Everything works except 2 things: (1) the 10-disc changer - I have not used it in years and tried it out the other day. It loads the discs, but cannot read them (I have been using an iPod w/ a cassette adapter). (2) the driver's power seat is 6 way and the front tilt does not work (you can still adjust angle with back tilt - and the power recline works fine as does the power movement towards/away from the steering wheel). The front tilt motor moves when you hit the switch (you can hear the motor, but the seat does not tilt) - I think it is a simple mechanical fix as the electric motor works. VIN is 1J4GW48S3YC390350 I have run the CarFax report and can provide if you email me. On Jul-24-10 at 10:23:58 PDT, seller added the following information: *****UPDATE***** Many people have contacted me asking the reserve and making "buy it now" offers. The reserve is $4500. I am not going to entertain any "buy it now" offers (I had a problem with a previous buyer that never paid for it after agreeing to buy it on craigslist - so I am going to leave it on eBay and sell to the highest bidder through eBay).
