PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING PRIOR TO BIDDING You’re bidding on my personally owned 2005 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 2WD SUV with 137,500 actual miles on it. I bought the truck brand new at Rancho Santa Margarita Ford in Santa Margarita, California where the truck spent its entire life until recently being shipped to Santa Rosa Beach area of Florida where I relocated. I still currently use the truck as a daily driver so the mileage will increase by the end of the auction. History This truck has NEVER been in an accident and it has NEVER had any paint work done to it. It has ALWAYS been serviced at RSM Ford and never touched by anyone other than oil change facilities. If you pull a Carfax on it, it clearly shows regular services/maintenance at the Ford Dealership. I have a recent printed copy of its carfax I would gladly fax you per your request and it will be included with the purchase of the truck. Overall Condition I would consider the vehicle to be in "Slightly Above Average" condition based on the age, mileage, and visible wear on the vehicle, please read below for specific details. The Exterior The exterior of the Expedition shows great, please look at the pictures. The black paint shows with a nice and deep gloss and gives good depth in the reflection off the paint. The truck does have a few minor dings (maybe 3 or 4), but absolutely no scratches or noticable body damage. The truck came from the factory with the upper and lower billet grill and the aftermarket 20" wheels. The truck is also painted from the factory like the "Limited" edition Expeditions. If you notice all the plastic body cladding on my truck is black which is just like the "Limited Edition" trucks, most regular Eddie Bauer's were black and tan, my truck is solid black. The only exterior flaw on my truck is the truck could use a good coat of wax, dont get me wrong the truck still shows excellent and shines like new...but with a fresh coat of wax the truck would show much better. Overall I would consider the exterior of the truck in "above average" condition considering the miles and age fo the truck. The Interior The interior of the Expedition is literally a carbon copy of the exterior, and the leather is in excellent shape and shows very minimal wear. The leather is in great shape and shows great, the carpets are clean and free from any major stains or imperfections. I do have all the factory floor mats for the truck and they could use a cleaning but they are still in great shape and have many years of use left. The truck has NEVER been smoked in, and Im a non-smoker therefore the are no burns and no odors of smoke. The truck is equipped with the 3rd row flip down seats which I dont think anyone has ever sat in them. The truck is also equipped with an all in one flip down tv/dvd player which came in the truck when it was new. The tv/dvd player works great especially with kids, my 4 year old loves it. The TV however occasionally will have a few lines that show up on the screen that eventually go away and come back intermittenly, but it still works fine. The only option the truck does not have is a sunroof, and the ONLY interior flaw is on the drivers lower seat. The stiching is BARELY starting to come up on the drivers seat bottom close to the seat back. This is an EASY fix and I started to fix it myself but I didnt have a heavy enough sewing needle and havent had time to attempt it again. If you can sew this can be fixed in less than 10mins with the right sewing needle and thread, without removing the seat and without a noticalbe repair. Overall the interior is also in slightly above average condition and with some light cleaning would show a little better as well. The Mechanics The Expedition fires right up and runs out great, mechanically the truck is in 100% perfect mechanical condition and needs nothing mechanical. The automatic transmission shifts out PERFECTLY without any slippage or hesitation between shifts as you work you way up to highway speeds. Like I said the truck has ALWAYS been dealer serviced and everytime the service department reccomended something it was repaired. The A/C blows ICE cold in the front and in the rear and all electrical power options work and function as they should including the keyless entry, the keypad entry, power seat, windows, mirrors and so on...The only needs it has mechanically are the tires could stand to be rotated and balanced but the tires easily have 65% or more tread life remaining on a nice set of matching Goodyear tires. I wouldnt hesitate to drive this truck cross country under any circumstances, this truck is 100% rock solid and it had been very well maintained and I never spared any expense with any repairs or regular service. The miles are all highway miles as the truck was used to visit my clients around Southern California. The truck still gets driven but I dont have a need for a vehicle this big any longer. Overall this is an excellent buy and there is NO reserve. I have also priced the buy it now lower than other currently on ebay. I'am a dealer but this is my personal vehicle, titled in my personal name, and has never been in my dealer inventory...personally owned. Buy with confidence knowing this truck has been well maintained and is in excellent condition and running order. I have no hold ups about keeping the truck if it doesnt bring what I want for it... Lastly, the cars offered on eBay are being offered at "wholesale" pricing which means our operation is not like your run of the mill car lot. In order to keep our pricing at the wholesale level we do not offer services like normal "retail" dealers. We do not offer airport pickup and the cars are delivered with a 1/4 tank of fuel, so please factor that into your bidding. Please add an additional $150 to your winning bid for documentation fee's. The doc fee helps offset the cost of clerical fee's like Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS when we send out the paperwork to you. Terms of Sale There is a 20% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due within 48 hours of the close of the auction, and the remaining balance is due within 5 days of the close of the auction. Our auctions are 7 day auctions and run Monday to Monday so deposits are due in our office by the Wednesday following the end of the auction and remaining balance is due by the end of the week on Friday, unless other arrangements are made PRIOR to bidding. There is no exception to the deposit unless you plan on picking up the vehicle and paying in full within 48 hours of the close of the auction. We accept Cash in Hand, Cashiers Checks, Money Orders, and Bank to Bank Wire Transfers although our preferred method of payment is Bank to Bank Wire Transfer.
