Thanks for looking at this fine and rare example of a 1978 original and collectible BMW R100RS. The bike has its original and unfaded gold paint. The bike is in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition. There are no leaks or any mechanical issues and the bike runs well and handles like it is supposed to. Maintenance and updates have been done on a regular basis to keep this a great classic runner. The gas tank is clean and rust free. There are some scratches and wear that are typical for a bike of this age and mileage. The most noticeable of these are shown in close up photographs. The sale includes the original BMW (Krauser) saddlebags that are functional however there are no keys and therefore the locking mechanisms would need to be replaced.
