THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. THE HIGH BIDDER WILL OWN THIS WONDERFUL PIECE OF AMERICANA. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AUCTION DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING. DO NOT BID WITH LESS THEN 5 POS FEEDBACKS BEFORE CONTACTING ME VIA PHONE PRIOR TO BIDDING. You are looking at my very respectable 1969 Volkswagen Transporter Bus Westfalia Campmobile. This camper has quite the history. The origional VW Service Record Book (included with the bus) shows, by way of a stamp at each service interval, the history of where the Campmobile has traveled during its free spirited life. It all started in Europe 1969, VW-WERK AG HANNOVER GERMANY to be specific. The bus then traveled throughout Europe, stopping at places like MOTARGIS and HELSINKI. The bus was then brought over to USA and traveled the Eastern United States and Canada. Places stamped in the record book are: Woodbury NY - Huntington NY - Hicksville NY - Hoquiam Washington - Dawson Creek BC - Owen Sound Ontario - and Mobile Alabama. Cosmetically- the outside of the camper is very respectable for it's age. Although not a show vehicle, it WILL turn some heads. There are some areas of concern that could use some attention as the pic's will show. However the bus is in nice shape compared to many others that I have seen. I have ordered two new hub caps that will be in any day and I will include them in the sale. Mechanically- she starts, runs, goes, and stops. Although not currently registered, I drove her down the road to our local school to take the pics. Could use some TLC maybe a tune-up or carb adjustment? I would say it's best to plan on bringing a trailer and drive her on. Interior- Very groovy, equipped with pop up camper (canvas has all been replaced), sink, 110 AC electric outlets, refrigerator (inside clean but plastic is cracked), fold down bed, cot in pop up area. AM/FM CD Pioneer head unit no speakers, original radio cover-plate made into a draw is also included, louvered side glass windows (operational), tons of nooks and cranny's to store all your stuff. As far as the appliances go, I don't know what works and what doesn't. I hate to see it go but I truly have too many things going on in my life. THIS BUS WILL BE SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION, THIS AUCTION SALE IS A BINDING CONTRACT. GOOD LUCK! BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING POSSESSION OF VEHICLE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF END OF AUCTION UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED UPON.PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE PLACING A BID.CONTACT JAMIE (845) 594-2362 FOR ANY QUESTIONS
