If your in the market for a bargin priced 560sl thats rust free and near home then your at the perfect place. Scroll below pictures for description. Here is another classic that has been in storage for about a year. This is an EAST COAST RUST FREE GEM. The engine is this car is extreamly powerfull and to the point. I have never expected a 1987 to run this strong. This is the last of the legendary W107 with the 560 ending its truely remarkable era. The W107 will be the most sought after 80's mercedes models and you can tell your wife this is an investment motorcar as they are becomming collector pieces. Overall this beauty is straight and I would drive it down to Florida without thinking twice. It does have a few issues but mainly minor such as the seats are torn. I will list them below strongest 560 I've ever driven shifts threw all gears strong yet smooth. reverse gears jumps sometimes but works excellent. the soft top is torned on the top sides, they all do. these tops don't last for more then a few years. cost is $900 for a new top including install at gibbles in manheim, pa the front seats are torned only at the bottom, cost to recover is $200 each at gibbles in manheim, pa. Wheels and tires fairly new and valued at $1500. Includes hard top as pictured All power features seem to work Air conditioning is not cold. Front brakes are new Rear brakes could use some work I love this car. If I had room for another car I would keep it. It drives awesome!On Aug-06-10 at 00:07:11 PDT, seller added the following information: There is nothing wrong with the transmission. It shifts threw all gears great... reverse works and goes in smoothly. Car runs great!!! It has brand new front brake rotors and pads. You will need to take care of the rear brakes when you get it home. Also it will need a new muffler soon. The paint work is not muesum quality but it does look good! Thank you!
