You are bidding on a "barn type find" super rare porsche 944 with low low mileage. Vehicle runs extreamly well and drives smooth. I would not hesitate to drive this across the tri-state area. Vehicle has been stored for a few years but moved occasionally. We had to reset the fuel pump wire and give it a boost when I removed it from storage. I also replaced one of the rear tires with a mismatch tire because the current one has a punture beyond repair. I have been using it the past 3 days in 90 degree weather with no issues whatsoever except the air conditioning does not work due to a frozen a/c compressor. It will need a rebuilt a/c compressor. As with a low mileage car the interior is still in a 8/10 condition. It appears vehicle was repainted at some point and has several dings, chips, and areas that a car collector would hate to see. Regardless for a no reserve auction you might be able to take this car home for say a couple thousand bucks, clean it up, restore it, and have yourself a truely collectable low mileage 944 that could end up being worth nearly 10,000 dollars some day. Either way for the price you are going to pay for this car there is NOTHING to lose. Appears to have exellent compression Idles smooth, acceleration is prompt and well balanced Shifts threw all gears great, no signs of worn syncros but clutch is starting to slip. air conditioning does NOT work, bad compressor confirmed and bypassed several inches of play in the steering wheel, might be the steering box because tie rods appear good however suspension is tight, no noticable play in the actual suspension dash pad could look better and is covering probaly a cracked dash. passenger seat has some tape gunk on it i was to lazy to clean up body may have damaged, a few nicks, dents, dings, and chips. interior is not perfect but the best I've seen for a 944 of this generation one of the amber market lights has a crack radio works great, so does the sunroof, and all power features Rules: Deposit required within 24 hours Full payment on the vehicle required within 15 days regardless if vehicle is picked up or not.
