addisonautogroup Store This is a very clean and unmolested 1985 Mercedes W123 body 300 Turbo Diesel, the car has had 2 original owners its whole life, the second owner owning it for better of 20 years. The car has had no restoration, and is in great shape!!! The body is solid, no accidents and never repainted, the power roof works, all the power windows work from the center control, the airmatic locks work, the blower buttons work, the ac/heat mixer controls work but it seem the center vents are not completly connected to the mixer from under the dash, since there is not a lot of air that comes out. and the side vent tubes also will need to be reset. The rest of the interior is immaculate, no rips or tears anywhere, both seats move back and fourth freely, the original Becker radio works fine(could not find a cass to try the player), all the doors open and close without any issues. The body is in outstanding condition!!!, the jack holes look in great shape one of the has some surface rust, but that is it... they look to have never been restored or filled with any kind of filler, the rockers are all in good shape and are rock solid!! the front spoiler under the bumper has some rust. The antenna does not go up and down in looks like it will need some help, also the cap that covers the antenna is gone, but there is a body putty cap that was placed there to cover the whole so no water gets in the trunk. The engine starts up fine very minor smoke on cold starts, glow plugs look to have been replaced recently and are working properly, valve cover looks to have been leaking at one point and there is oil build up on the side and front of the engine but it does not look like it leaks anymore. The transmission shifts all gears fine and without any issues, no late shifting, just nice and smooth. All in all this is a very nice and clean car, its all original and ready for its new home. it will come with the original books and manuals and a stack of service records that stem over a 25 year span.... The dates on the service records verify the mileage by timeline, the 98,000 mile are 100% actual and has not been tampered with in any way!
