*** CHECK OUT MY 100% FEEDBACK SCORE AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE *** ****** NO RESERVE ****** You are bidding on a beautiful 1986 Buick Grand national T- Type V-6 Turbo, with only 78,000 original miles. This vehicle has been modified and maintained by some of the most gifted master mechanics in the field of Turbo Buicks, to include NASCAR Bill Thompson. This GN offers the highest level of performance along with the comfort and reliability of a daily driver. Below I have categorized the modifications and upgrades which make this Grand National a one of a kind. So why am I selling it you ask? I’ve learned over the last few months that weddings are expensive. The cake, the DJ, the food and the booze all seem to add up very quickly. A car like this, I can build again, but a woman like mine…only come around once in a lifetime. And away we go! Motor: V-6 Block CNC bored and honed with plate balancing rods. New bearings for the cam rod, main billet caps ARP road bolts, along with main studs and head studs. CNC square deck block. Weisco brand pistons. New crank shaft from General Motors that’s been done over and polished. 206/206 roller cam with hydraulic roller lifters, pushrods .060 long with 1.255 hi performance valve springs. New drive gear for the cam and new oil pump along with new General Motors pressure hoses. Modified timing chain cover equipped with larger oil passages. Billet double roller timing chain. New balancer along with all new gaskets from top to bottom. Champion cast iron heads which have been fully ported by Weber Racing. Along with the heads, the custom intake has also been fully ported by Weber Racing. Motor Extras: TE-60 Precision Turbo positioned in stock location. Big Row intercooler from Thunder Fabrications. Volt booster by Red Armstrong from Southeast Turbo Performance. Plenum cleaned and ported stock LSI mass air flow sensor. New cam sensor from Casper Electronics. 8.5 Magnecor wires, along with new AC Delco plugs. Fuel System: Walbro 340 fuel pump with hot wire installation kit. 55 LB injectors. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Transmission: Janis transmission with pro-torque converter equipped with modified billet drum, built specifically for 10 second in the quarter mile capability. Transmission cooler supplied through braided lines affixed with fittings from Aeroquip Industries. New detent cable and transmission mount with driveshaft loop. 3 inch high performance driveshaft custom made by Henderson Industries. Line lock installed through break lines. Rear-end and Suspension: Series #3 Eaton Posi 30 spline Moser axle. 30 spline with 3 inch x ½ inch studs and bearings. Shortened ends with welded on tubes by Edelbrock. New upper and lower control arms with new springs and air bags. New brakes and parts from NFC Performace. New upper and lower ball joints with complete front end alignment completed by Advanced Autosport. New adjustable front and rear shocks by KYB America. Exhaust: Piston headers, along with 3 inch stainless steel downpipe with test pipe cutout by Terry Houston. Complete 3 inch exhaust system with race magnums from SE Turbo. Electronics: Modified ECM with tweaked chips. Translator plus O2 sensor with 3 wire kit from General Motors. Dual club cooling fan with wire kit and switch from Ramchargers. All sensors under the hood have been replaced with a majority coming straight from General Motors. Paint: The car has recently been wet sanded and buffed to bring out the luster. The paint looks really good on this GN, but it’s not an $8K PPG base coat, clear coat, show paint job. Extras: All air conditioning components are new, which results in it blowing nice and cold. New high efficiency 4 row radiator from Cal West. New Duralast Gold Standard battery with up to 1000 cranking amps. New AC Delco battery wiring harness. New front and rear tires -- Front- BF Goodrich Radial T/A – P235/60R15/98S M+S -- Rear- BF Goodrich Radial T/A – P275/50R15/101S M+S All windows, to include both T-tops, have been tinted with Llumar 5% tint. New carpet kit and custom Turbo 6 floor mats. Smoked front headlight covers. Full detail to include Buffing, waxing and shampooing of the carpet, seats and floor mats. And the list goes on and on and on… But wait, there’s more…if you order in the next five minutes. Kidding. ACTUAL BONUS: Also included in the purchase price of this beautiful Grand National is a $1,100.00 full set of black/silver GNX style wheels (16” x 8”) with matching center caps(see photos). Now for the minor issues with the GN: Last December the vehicle was involved in a very very minor fender bender, which required new front and rear bumper fillers. They have been color matched, painted and installed. The front and rear bumper cushions have some minor scratches. · Kirbanperformance.com – Item #6919 ($85/each) The T-tops are in great working order, but the molding will need to be replaced within the next couple of years. · Kirbanperformance.com – Item # 7143 ($190/pair). The windshield had a small chip, about the size of a pee or smaller in front of the passenger’s seat view point. The passenger seat has some very small tears…you’ll have to look close to see them. That wasn’t too bad for a 24 year old car, was it ? * SELLER HAS THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION AT ANY TIME * *** Please read the requirements below before bidding *** Buyers with a feedback score of 95% or lower will be required to post a deposit in the amount of $2,500.00 within 3 days of auction end, with full payment required an additional 10 days after receipt of deposit.
