The Spitfire Originated from 1962 British Company named Triumph that wanted to build an affordable 2 seater sports car and the rest is history. The Spitfire has had a lot of competition thru the years from other car companies like MG with the Midget. Hands down the Spitfire was always on top always outclassing and outselling the competition. The Spitfire was always offering better suspension, more power and a more updated look vs the other makers making for one of the best selling two seater sports cars of that at era. What a great car....This car has been very well maintained and taken care of. The engine was professionally rebuilt a few years ago and purrs like a kitten. This engine does not smoke, burn oil and is very powerful for its size...This spitfire starts with ease. You could not ask for more. The car has 65,046 miles on it. Since the engine has been rebuilt these miles are now non actual there is aprox 12,000 miles on the rebuild. This is a very clean and solid car that looks great. You will be amazed at how actual clean this car is from top to bottom. The undercarriage is very clean with no rust through anywhere. All the pans are all original and never rusted. This is a straight up car. It was repainted at one time. A nice paint job with no overspray. The finish looks very good but not a show finish more like a factory finish. The car was taken apart and done correctly. A great looking car that is sharp...A real head turner....The engine compartment is clean and well kept. There are no leaks of any kind. This vehicle has been serviced on a regular basis. The inside of the car is very nice equipped with a 5 speed transmission that shifts with ease. The clutch is real good and no mechanical issues at all. A great fun car to drive....The drivetrain, engine and all the mechanicals are exceptional. I can not say enough about how well this car rides and drives...The interior is in great shape. A sony stereo Cd player was added and also a temp gauge. The original gauge is inop. The inside of this car is clean and very well kept. The drivers seat has a small tear in side thhe bottom crease on the bottom of the seat. Hardly noticable. You must look for it. A very well kept automobile. The dash looks great. The top is new and this car comes with the boot and a car cover to protect the car. The brakes are in excellent shape. The tires are fairly new. A car you can buy and enjoy. It needs no money spent on it...Overall you will find this to be an exceptional Vehicle for its year. It has been very well taken care of and it shows.
