Vehicle Detail
Hello and thank you for looking at my vehicle. I will be completely honest about this car and you can check my feedback and ask me anything. I checked the other listings for V8 Audi's and if you ask me mine is by far the best deal. Do not miss out on this fantastic car. You are looking at a 2001 Audi A6 Quattro with the 4.2l V8 engine. The car has an automatic transmission with the auto manual shift. The car is beautiful and will go anywhere. The color of the car is blue pearl effect which changes from blue to grey depending on the sunlight. The inside is a greyish blue leather. The car has 126k on it but seriously drives like a newer car. It is very fast and handles extremely well. I have never driven another sedan like it, especially in the snow. The car has 17" factory rims in which I have summer and winter tires for. The summer tires are getting low on tread but the winter tires are like new only being used last season. The car has every available option including front and rear heated leather seats, front and rear climate control, a Bose stereo system with a six cd changer and built in subwoofer, bright blueish headlight system, headlight washer system, blue tinted mirrors inside and out, automatic rear sunshade, power moonroof, 4 memory settings for drivers seat and steering wheel, homelink system, and much more. The car also has the winter package whick includes traction control and stability control, the 4 heated seats which I mentioned above, front and rear climate control, and a ski bag which extends into the car from the rear seat center console. It is pretty cool. The not so perfect. There are some minor scratches on the top of the rear bumper which probably could be buffed out. There is about a 2 inch scrape on the lower rear bumper. It is on the grey plastic part not on the painted bumper itself. There is a small dime size rock chip in the center of the windshield which is drilled around so that it won't crack, and there is a plastic cover missing on the back dash that covers a childs seat belt hook. Lastly, the passenger side front window goes up slowly, not sure if it is the motor or if it just needs to be greased. The good. The timing belt was replaced at 98k before I bought the car. I just had the A/C checked and filled so it blows ice cold air. About 2 months ago I had extensive engine work done. The following is what I had done: Timing chain tensioner, Tensioner gasket kit, valve cover gasket set, cam plug, cam sealing cap, front camshaft seal, oil and filter, oil level sensor, engine wiring harness, oil pump, oil pan seallant, all 8 coils replaced, all new double platinum spark plugs, and I also had the 120k normal service performed which includes going through everything on the car and a complete diagnostic check. I have all receipts of services and work done from the past year and it totals almost $4,000.00 dollars. The car is finally fixed right and runs and drives extremely well. It is really a nice ride and looks very sweet. I also have all new audi floor mats which snap in place. I put chrome trim on the front upper and lower grill. I have tint for the headlights and taillights which is not installed but is included. I also kept the old coils and plugs because I found out they were not bad. The inside of the car is excellent. There are no dead pixels in the dash like other Audi's. There are no carpet or seat tears or stains at all. It is an easy 9 out of 10. There are some small scratches here and there but nothing bad that wouldn't buff out. This is a 9 year old vehicle so it is being sold as is but I want to assure you it is very nice. There is no rust and no dents. The reason I am selling the car is that I am buying a house and I need the money for a down payment. This was my second car so I really don't need it. I do still owe a little on the car but can get the title cleared in one afternoon so you will not have to worry about that. Remember, if you are looking for an Audi they all need these very expensive services performed at around 100k and mine has everything done for you. Get in and fly anywhere. I have about 500 miles on the car since all of the work done and it is awesome. If you have any questions at all or if I missed anything please ask and I will answer to the best of my ability. I tried to leave nothing out when explaining this vehicle and there will be no surprises if you purchase this car. The only thing you will have to worry about is going the speed limit. I will require a $500 dollar deposit for the winning bidder as I don't feel like waisting time dealing with non paying bidders. The reserve price I have is less than half of what I have total into this car. My loss will definitely be your gain. I also have the car for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Thank you for looking and have a great day.
