This is a 2001 Ford Mustang Convertible, Premium package. I have owned this vehicle for over two years, during which time it has made MANY roadtrips from Chicago, IL to Destin, FL and back; thus many of it's miles are highway miles. This vehicle is very clean for it's age, other then the cosmetic flaws detailed below. This vehicle has supple leather interior, with no rips or wear-spots. It has the Mach 460 sound system, with the in-dash 6-disc cd player. All systems and options on this vehicle are in proper operating condition, except those noted below. The power top works fine. The A/C works great, blows strong and cold, even keeping the interior comfortable in humid, 90-something Florida weather! The vehicle has just had a rear brake job, with new rotors, calipers and pads, and four new tires with less then 500 miles on them. The vehicle also comes with the front LeBra and "blackout" headlight covers, (pictured). The headlight covers are VERY dark, and are easily removed for night driving, (they are secured by small, strong, velcro tabs under the hood). Flaws: The bra is covering some scratches on the hood and a small crack under the passenger headlight and near the hood latch on the front bumper, (see under-hood picture). The trunk lid and rear spoiler have abrasion marks in the paint, and there is a small crack in the rear spoiler, (see pictures). The top has two tiny tears, visible near the abrasion marks seen in the previously mentioned photo. The rear brakes where replaced with non-ABS parts, thus the vehicle now does NOT have ABS, though it was originally equipped with it, and the wiring and sensors are still in place if one would like to re-activate it. The in-dash cd player has, on occasion, given me a "CD Error" message, requiring a shut down and restart to get the cd working again. It seems to be happening more often, and this seems to be a common problem among Mustang owners. Other then this, the car has normal scratches and one or two dings, but the photos show that the paint is, by and large, still in good shape, and it is still an attractive, straight vehicle. Additionally, I just had the vehicle inspected and appraised at CARMAX, and have included a pic of their clean bill of health on the vehicle. A $500 dollar deposit through PayPal is required within 24 hours of the close of the auction. The balance of the purchase price must be paid within 3 days, unless other arrangements are made prior to the end of auction. The vehicle is located about thirty miles South of Chicago, IL. Buyer is responsible for transportation of vehicle; it is being sold as-is, where-is. If buyer is picking the vehicle up, they can pay the balance in person. No warranty is expressed or implied; this is a used vehicle being sold by owner.
