Vehicle Detail

Hello. I am listing my Honda VTX1800R Retro cruiser with a ton of extra stuff. I've had some changes to my life situation that causes me to sell it. Most likely if you are looking at this bike you already know what it's all about. This is not really a starter bike - it's a big machine. Not a thing wrong with it and it runs like a charm. 10,300 miles. NEW DUNLOP TIRES at 9500 miles - both front and rear. Windshield Sissy bar MUSTANG SEAT with lower back support - (Even if you don't buy this bike, make sure your next ride has this - WHAT A DIFFERENCE!) Progressive Shocks Billeted tail lights Lay down license frame Black leather tank bib Handlebar mounted clock 5 helmets, from small to XL - Medium half face never used. HARD KROME American Classic straight pipes (Loud and deep sound, but the stock pipes are installed on bike right now) T-Bag sissy bar pack (For around town) TOURMASTER back pack with rain cap (For the extended trips) Hard, locking, quick-remove saddle bags - Black. (If you don't take a rider, you can actually load the saddlebags, T-bag, and Tourmaster bag all together for those week long rides - Sweet.) This is a really good package for an amazing bike. I've got 4 Harley's in my neighborhood and the running joke is that I'm the only one spending the most time with the bike actually riding it! Bike starts up right away no matter how long it sits and runs like a dream. Hydraulic brakes and clutch - all fluids crystal clear. When I got this bike I compared long and hard the 1300 vs. the 1800. While it may seem like the bikes are similar - there really are some major differences. The main things that kicked me into the 1800 from the 1300 were that this bike is fuel injected (no more playing with the choke in the morning!) and the interlinked brakes. Press the foot brake, and the front brake is engaged 1/3 as well. This is a heavy bike - but it stops on a dime! Exceptional control on this bike. The last thing that knocked me into it is the ride itself. This bike is quite a bit heavier than the 1300 - which in all honesty eats up some of the extra power you would expect from 500 more cc's. But the weight of the bike makes it have an unreal ride. It's so smooth. If you're ready to upgrade to a REAL CRUISER - this is your bike. Most of the rides you will see in the 1800 are the C style. This is the rare R style with retro styling and cast wheels. Truly a classic design - and I get a TON of compliments! The color is a unique Honda color called Illusion Blue which looks blue in some lights, purple in other, and almost a reddish-blue in others. Bike has always been serviced ahead of schedule and has been garage kept since day one. No accidents - title is clear and in hand. The bike is located in Madison, CT. I'm willing to work with transportation within reason and to my capabilities. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks! Chris
