2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty ST 2WD Regular Cab Long Bed with the ultra-reliable 5.9 HO Cummins Turbo Diesel and 6-spd NV5600 manual tranny (the best 6spd made for the Cummins).This is a CLEAN, great-running truck: no frills and all business (manual windows, locks, and seats) and has been babied by a CDL who knows how to drive and maintain diesel trucks, to include the all-important fuel filter change at every oil change. This would be a great vehicle to set up for towing: tough, reliable, and great fuel mileage while towing. . Extras:-California Super Trucks Performance Suspension (CST) lift. The lift allows the 2WD Ram to clear 315/70/17 (35" metric equiv) which is what is currently on the truck (BF Goodrich All Terrains). I previously had 35" BF Goodrich Mud Terrains on the truck-After market Crager 397 rims with high offset for the lift, so the truck rides great and looks tough-Bumpers have Line-X coating-Dual stacks, 8" powder-coated with matching caps, professionally installed (caps can be removed very easily). I have a stock exhaust if the stacks aren't your style. The stacks sound absolutely fantastic! It is the ST model, reg cab, with a 6spd-it gets very nice MPG for a truck of this class. With the tuner in economy, I averaged 26 MPG on a 12 hour trip. While towing a 4,000lb trailer to Texas, I got almost 20 mpg (hand calculated). All the mods were done with the intent of making the truck more efficient and lasting longer, not faster. I wanted a tough truck, that got great MPG and was ultra-reliable, and it never let me down. Of note, there are marks over the rear wheels from fender flares that were previously on the truck, they are barely visible in some of the pictures. I was trying to go for the blacked out look with the extras on the truck, it looks great and runs great-no mechanical issues whatsoever.
