This is a **NO RESERVE** auction. I'm selling here, what I believe to be one of the NICEST V-8 Vega's on the planet. I'm 55, have been into Hot Rods since I was 12, and this is the cleanest, most tasteful one I've seen. It's an original, SoCal it's whole life, rust free, original "blue" plate car that was bought in neighboring San Bernardino (I'm in the San Fernando Valley). It's a true nut and bolt restoration with many NOS parts, and tastefully made into a reliable and useful Hot Rod. It's got a 5.7 rodded 406 with Edlebrock aluminum heads, an Isky solid stick (Z-35), Performer air Gap and Holley DP carb. It's got a full manual, reverse valve body TH400 with a brake. 12 bolt rear with Summers axles, Richmond 3.73's, and Eaton Posi. Aluminum driveshaft, S-10 spindles/brakes, Line Locs, 3" exhaust to the Flowmasters, and 2 1/2" from there back round out some of the underpinnings. Look how neatly the builder tucked the radiator under the header panel (see engine pictures) to give a cleaner, less obstructive engine compartment. There are many thoughtful ideas throughout. The car was stripped top and bottom, all glass removed, the body blocked to PERFECTION and then brilliantly painted in Cortez Silver. It's beautiful. NOS mirrors/bumpers/hatch glass.......It drives as good as it looks. Let your hands off the wheel at 100 MPH, and hit the brakes without fear of the car doing anything unpredictable. I'm certain I'm overlooking a LOT. But, there's just so much, I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Look at my feedback, ask me ANYTHING you'd like.
