Up for auction is a very nice 1974 Plymouth Duster. I bought this car to have a cruiser but now I cant afford to do everything I'd like to do on this car. Car was originally a 318 car but the former owner installed a 383. He pulled the 383 and the 727 automatic transmission before selling the car. I had intended to put a 440 in place but decided to use it in another project. All the wiring, hoses, and exhaust are intact. All you need to do is drop the motor in and plug it all in. the exhaust was cut but is still in place. Car has the original build sheet and fender tag. Car was originally an all black car. Came with lots of options from the factory. Has factory rear window defrost and rear air shocks. Not sure if the air shocks are factory. I dont know what gears are in the rear end. former owner told me he could get both wheels to spin but he wasnt sure if it had a posi or not. Tires have plenty of life left on them. All lights and wiring works according to former owner. I haven't hooked a battery up to double check. Interior is very good. I've only found a few things wrong with the car. The antenna is broken. I changed the trunk latch and when I did I forgot to put the link from the lock through the trunk latch. Long story short, the trunk wont open. You will have to drill and replace the lock. The passenger side windshield wiper arm is not connected to the wiper motor. All you need is the link from the left wiper to the right wiper and it will work. The paint appears to be somewhat new but does have a few defects. On the passenger side above the rear wheel it looks like somebody scraped it and it was painted over. Not a perfect fix but is ok for a driver. Dont miss out on this great car. A deal like this doesn't come often. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
