Up for bid is a beautiful White 1959 Thunderbird with red pin-striping. Interior is Red. This car is a strong running car that goes anywhere. Great for weekend drives, or that car show hundreds of miles away. It was restored by previous owner and purchased by me at the Hershey Car Show in 2001. I have enjoyed driving and showing this baby but life changes has left me without a garage and no means to keep up the car. This is the standard 352 V8 Automatic It came with an aftermarket AM/FM cassette player. I have an original radio and sent it away to be converted to a solid state AM/FM stereo that still looks original. I never put it in. I was going to install it when I installed the AC system I bought. I was in the process of adding air conditioning but only obtained all the parts off a donor 1959 Thunderbird and never got around to installing them. I paid 1000 from Bob's Bird house for this AC system that I took off the old parts car and will include this in the winning bid free since I feel it will add greatly to your enjoyment of this car. From sitting the last two years, I have noticed things needing attention that have cropped up. Transmission pan needs new gasket and trans was slow shifting back into first (3 sec) when stopping at a light. This went away after warmed up. Power steering hose needs replacing. seems to be weeping. Rear bumper has small rust pits when looking close . Trunk is solid, interior in nice shape. I think this is a nice car that needs a good home with only minor things to make it great. It hurts to see it go but I hope new owner enjoys it as much as I. Thanks for looking. Low reserve...
