Vehicle Detail

THE RESERVE IS $10,000.00. My cost in the truck is over 20k. This truck is located in New York just outside the city in White Plains. Its time to sell my cars now that I'm 70. This 1949 Studebaker pick up truck is one of a kind. It came from Oklahoma to me in Florida and then I shipped it to NY where it is now. The man I purchased it and took the original body off the frame and built a new heavy duty tubular frame capable of handeling a high horspower motor. He used the front end and rear end of a 73 Lincoln mark 4 and also used the 460 motor from that car. He rebuilt the entire front end and put new break all around. So basically I ended up with a Lincoln with a 1949 Study mint body. I paid 13,000.00 for the car. This truck goes along just like a Lincoln rides. Ok ,Now what I did to the car. So now I wanted to make it better so I redid the inside with Caddy electric seats new custom carpet and rubber mats in the door well and leather look doors. New visors and added a radio and Air conditioning. I had a truck body shop line the rear bed with diamond plate and put new tires and rims. Had a painter put custom flames in Yellow over the navy blue. After some time the motor was acting up and we found it had lost compression in two of its cylinders. Who ever rebuilt the motor did not seat the rings properly. Rather than rebuild the 460 motor I purchased a new 460 motor on ebay from a truck dealer in Canada that was going out of business. So we used some of the old parts but I installed a new High rise intake manifold and carb. Now I'm getting too old for this business so I'm selling my cars. This truck runs great and is in good shape overall. There are no mechanical problems at all except the wipers don't work. It had directional signals and tilt wheel. Power breaks and power steering. The original tail gate works properly and all the windows work.New tires, breaks and battery. Body is very straight especially for a 1949. I don't think it ever had rust. If You have questions just call me 914 886 5551 The pictures tell the story. I even put a few of the old ones from before I got the car.
