1973 Triumph Stag We are a British Car repair facility that has been given the task of selling this project for one of our customers. We have a very unique Stag here that has very low mileage, thanks to the need for cylinder head gaskets..surprise, surprise. It is Sienna brown with autumn leaf interior. The hardtop may not have been original to this car, as it shows signs of a repaint from its original color of Magenta. Otherwise the body paint appears to be original and has the usual dings and dents from normal use. The interior is in excellent shape and the completeness of this car is also a big plus. We supplied a fresh battery to it and tested the electrics and everything worked, except the clock. There is little to no rust. I would say most of the issues are with surface rust (underneath) PLEASE review all the pictures carefully, if in doubt ask questions before you bid. Since this car has been sitting indoors for so many years (time unknown) it will need more than the head gaskets to make it roadworthy. The fuel system including carburetors will need to be replaced/rebuilt and the brake hydraulics will need to be replaced. The cooling system/hoses should also be replaced. The engine is NOT seized. The car comes with no guarantee other than "what you see is what you get" . We have gone out of our way to provides as many pictures as possible, please take the time to review them and make your own decision. This car is a great candidate for an engine swap (Rover V8, like Triumph should have used!) The tires are NEW. Also included are some spare parts, mostly tune-up/maintenence items.
