Hi, Here is your chance to buy a super rare AMC SC360 Hornet. This is a 1 year car with only 784 ever built. It is only 1 of 306 4 speed 4bbl SC'S built. AMC made a few rare cars in its time with the SS AMX being the rarest with 52 built and then the Trans AM Javelin with only 100 built. Next however is the SC 360 Hornet with the 784 that were made. THere was even more SC/Ramblers (1512) made. This car has all the right stuff with everything matching numbers. The only things I see missing are the orig carb and the air cleaner. The 6th digit in the vin(1) signifies that it is a REAL SC360 Hornet. This car really deserves a restoration. It is very solid and straight. The body is in good condition needing rear lower quarter patches. The floor where the drivers left foot would sit needs some patch work also. The rest of the car seems very solid. The interior will need some work as it really needs the seats to be redone. It is a Red interior with a serape code which is cloth inserts. You can see the pic of the rear seat.The headliner is near mint. The metal door tag reads model 7106-1, Trim 143V, and paint B9. The orig paper tag is still on the door with the build date and vin number. This car came with the factory 14" Magnums which I think look better on the car. I played with the car a little when I got it and it had been sitting for a long time but I got the motor to run. It ran O.K. The brakes will need work. I believe the rear end is 3.54's. The 4sp seems to shift smoothly just sitting. This also has power disc brakes, factory tach and the factory functional Ram Air set up. This is a very RARE CAR as you don't see many come up for sale. I have been told somewhere between 115 and 120 are known to still exist!Don't miss out on your chance to own something very different and special.
