Vehicle Detail
I am selling this amazing 1970 Buick Stage One GSX Recreation for my friend. I back this auction with my reputation and 100% feedback because I have known John for 10 plus years now, I know how meticulous he keeps everything and I have personal knowledge of the condition of this car. This is a fully documented, numbers matching Stage One car that has been professionally restored as a GSX recreation. With the #’s matching 455-ci engine that was professionally built, not rings and bearings, but a complete rebuild. We’re talking pistons .030 over, rotating assembly balanced, heads completely gone through with New valves, springs, retainers & keepers. Edelbrock intake port matched and MSD ignition. The engine was completely blueprinted and professionally assembled. Backed by a total rebuild on the bulletproof ( #’s matching) turbo 400 transmission and the matching factory rear end with the 3.42 posi. This car will take your breath away when you stand on the throttle! The engine and transmission has approx 900 miles on them. Do I even need to state that it underwent a total body on restoration? OK…. I let you know, no expense was spared. Name it…. New brakes, that’s lines, rotors, calipers, drums, body mount bushings, upper / lower control arm bushings…. Well more than I can list… but I’m sure you’re getting the picture -- NEW! No expense was spared on the body either. A total body strip down the bare metal, professionally restored paint. The interior… Well, look at the pictures. Over $4,000 was invested in the interior to make it “as new” condition. Auto with AC, PS, PB, AM/FM/Cass. He has tons of paperwork (see pictures for only some of it), and it was verified (documented) by the renounced Sloan Museum. This car is in incredible condition. It starts and drives like it was June 28th 1970. This car is Truly a collector grade vehicle. It won 1st place at Bowling Green Kentucky Buick Nationals with a 98 out 100 score (see pics). Again bid with confidence, 100% feedback !! For more info – call John direct at 334-270-9346
