You are bidding on my 1984 Audi 4000S Quattro. This car is immaculate and does not have any significant rust. I bought the car from the daughter of the original owner. The car has been in Wyoming/Montana for its entire life. It has never been exposed to road salt. It has a lot of miles on it but it has been well taken care of. Synthetic oil used exclusively since day one. All scheduled maintainence was performed on time. The car drives well, starts every time, the 5 cylinder engine pulls strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. Braking is excellent and the steering is very responsive. I'm selling because I have three cars and I don't need this car. Includes abundant repair information including: Audi 4000 Bentley Factory Service Manual, VW Quantum Syncro Wagon Factory Service Manual (similar in many ways to the 4000 and another point of reference), Haynes Audi 4000 Manual. Comes with Dual XD1222 AM/FM/CD player with iPod input and USB controller/charger. Has a built-in engine block heater for wintertime. Tires are matched and have approximately 80% tread left A/C blows colder than outside air but I wouldn't call it cold by any stretch. Probably needs recharged for maximum cooling The known problems include: passenger power window switch doesn't work. Differential lock switch lights do not come one...this is likely a vacuum leak somewhere. Odometer stopped working a month ago and only works occasionally now. No other known problems. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere but buyer must understand that the car is used and has lots of miles and, as such, is sold AS IS, WHERE IS. No warranty expressed or implied.
